As their own screen shot proves, what works well on Windows, doesn’t necessarily work well on Macs.

That ribbon interface looks great in Windows, but doesn’t cut the mustard on Mac OS X.

Admittedly it’s still a beta version of word, and it looks like they haven’t got the button wrapping working just yet, but still, it just doesn’t work.
