I had a brilliant rowing session with my brother this morning (having got in a boat for the first time in three weeks on Thursday. Last time I went out with him, he and I seemed to be fighting each other, and fighting the boat. Today though was a very different story – everything was smooth, and controlled. And we were fast – really fast. Most people came off the water saying “So why aren’t you two racing together?” – praise indeed!
